Senior FP&A Analyst

For our Financial Planning & Analysisdepartment in Königswinter (Cologne/Bonn area),we are looking for a

FP&A Analyst (m/f/d)

Your future role

• Assist in preparation of financial reports, analysis and information to key decision-making personnel in the organization including the CEO, CFO and Manager of FPA
• Assist in preparation of a variety of financial reports and statements
• Analyse actuals in SAP and calculate accruals in cooperation with budget owners/business
• Prepare monthly forecast based analysis and load in Hyperion
• Prepare standard commentary for major deviations of actuals vs forecast and budget, respectively forecast vs prior forecast and budget
• Ensure the communication of clear planning instructions and key milestone dates and work product expectations in a timely manner
• Monitor business unit performance in preparing financial plans
• Automate consolidation and analysis process wherever possible
• Prepare consolidated planning information and analysis in a timely manner
• Plan, monitor and control processes to minimize number of revisions to financial plans through advanced planning techniques
• Ensure that analysis is error-free and is prepared in a timely manner
• Be able to work with senior leadership, support and challenge
• Ensure documentation is audit proof and align process closely with tax department in Austria

Your profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Industrial Engineering and Management
• Minimum five years of relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis assignment
• Prior work experience in the automotive industry is a plus
• Strong English and German skills (written, verbal and comprehension)
• Deep technical Finance & Accounting knowledge
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of Oracle HFM, S/4 HANA and EPM
• Hyperion and SAP experience are a plus
• Gathers and analyzes relevant information systematically
• Understands complex concepts and the relationships between issues or problems
• Possesses intellectual agility; readily accepts the challenges of unfamiliar tasks
• Speaks and writes clearly and effectively even when relating complex information Expresses ideas in a concise and organized manner
• Hands-on and self-starter
