Sustainability Engineer

Main Task :

• Manage the local sustainability tasks and activities and report to global department.
• Recognition of potential for improvement / need for action and implementation of corresponding measures.
• Reach local sustainability goals.
• Collaborate with the global Sustainability Manager and all relevant departments.
• Develop and oversee environmental, social and governance policies and procedures, as well as reviewing and appraising proposed actions to be socially and environmentally sustainable and comply with internationally recognized best practices.
• Ensuring compliance with legal obligations relating to sustainability
• Support in global sustainability projects
• Reporting (incl. documentation) of local information to global sustainability department (esp. About reaching the sustainability goals)
• Definition of local processes for efficient data collection and KPI-Tracking
• Local internal and external communication and esp. communication to global sustainability department
• Main contact for sustainability within the plant
