Your responsibilities

  • Develop Data Infrastructure : Design and implement scalable and reliable data pipelines to support our data warehousing and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate on Data Integration : Work closely with analytics engineers on integrating and transforming data for various business requirements.
  • Ensure Data Quality : Focus on ensuring high data quality and governance throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Data Pipeline Ownership : Take ownership of the engineering processes and structures for data pipelines, ensuring they are optimized for speed, scalability, and reliability.
  • Technical Solutions Ownership : Development and maintenance of technical solutions and processes within the data engineering team, ensuring best practices are followed.

Your profile

  • Proven technical ability and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including ETL processes, data modeling, and virtualization
  • Experience on working with cloud based DWH solutions on AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Experience with advanced database technologies designed for large-scale data processing and analytics, such as columnar storage and distributed systems
  • Advanced knowledge of ETL frameworks in Python and SQL
  • Proficiency in BI tools and an understanding of their integration within a larger data ecosystem
  • A data-informed approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Nice to have : Familiarity with containerization (docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), streaming technologies like Kafka, Pulsar, Kinesis
