We are looking to hire a Repair and Maintenance Operations Manager (m / f / d) on full time, permanent basis. The R&M Operations Manager is a crucial operational position for Menck with responsibilities for the day-to-day R&M global operations. The R&M Operations Manager reports to the Head of R&M and takes responsibility for the maintenance & repair, production as well as delivery of MENCK equipment and materials (spare parts) globally.
The position closely collaborates with the Sales, Asia Sales, R&M, Service Delivery, OPS Support, and Finance departments.
Duties & Main Responsibilities
- Drive global operational performance and business growth by strategically developing and optimizing international R&M infrastructure, processes, and organizational capabilities.
- Provide end-to-end leadership for global R&M delivery, including new asset production, service and upgrade execution, rental spread delivery, and spare parts supply.
- Ensure consistent delivery of integrated service concepts for MENCK assets on global rental projects, securing high-quality service execution and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee global claims and warranty management, ensuring timely resolution, transparent communication, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Foster innovation by supporting R&D initiatives within the R&M delivery landscape, promoting cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Lead global inventory and material management, ensuring availability, cost control, and alignment with operational and commercial requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Project Management by providing technical and operational expertise to support project acquisition and execution.
- Ensure full adherence to QHSE policies and procedures, promoting a strong compliance and safety culture across all operations.
- Provide accurate and timely financial performance data, enabling informed decision-making and supporting strategic planning.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Production Management.Advanced understanding of business administration and commercial management.Solid knowledge of QHSE standards, asset lifecycle management, service execution, and material management.Minimum 10 years' experience in operations and service within offshore construction technology or a comparable industry.Proven leadership experience managing international technical teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Excellent estimating, scheduling, and budgeting skills.Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.High level of adaptability, flexibility, and proactive working style.Business-fluent in English.Willingness to travel regularly.We offer :
