Your Role
The vision of the Omnichannel Sales (OCS) organization is to enable online sales of complete spectacles to our customers (ECPs). The OCS Marketplace will be a B2B2C marketplace delivering best-in-class shop experience to consumers and easy to use, self-service onboarding and management processes for customers (opticians). You will be the responsible Product Owner for the B2B2C marketplace. The marketplace is key part of ZEISS Vision Care’s channel strategy and will enable our customers (opticians) to win with consumers who want to buy spectacles online. In this role, you will be able to make a strong contribution to grow the online channel for our customers and consequently for Vision Care. Your role :
You will be stakeholder of Omnichannel Sale’s design and strategy process for understanding market demands and consumer desires, viability for ZEISS Vision Care’s strategy and present and discuss feasibility for the marketplace
You will derive, structure and prioritize features and user stories and be responsible for managing the backlog
You will interact with UI / UX specialists to deliver the designed features meeting the expectation of an outstanding user experience
You will coordinate the interdisciplinary and cross-functional implementation of new features for an international marketplace
You will guide and instruct the Development Team and manage technical dependencies
You will apply hybrid software development
You ensure all software releases are bug-free and meet the high expectations of our customers and internal processes. One key performance indicator is on-time-delivery of the committed scope within the iterations structure
You will be in close alignment with the Head of Marketplace regarding feature priorities, long-term product strategy and technological roadmap
You will in close alignment with other product owners regarding feature dependencies and market expectations
You will ensure in time roll outs of marketplace features
You will enable evidence-based decision making by supporting data & analytics activities for tracking of consumer and customer behaviour
Your Profile
University degree in medical, computer science, engineering, business informatics, business information systems engineering, or a relevant adjacent subject; alternatively, a business degree and strong technology experience
4+ years of work experience in software product development with agile software development of complex products with a proven track record of successfully launched and operated agile projects
Knowledge of agile frameworks (SCRUM, SAFe) and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
Strong result orientation (‘deliver-attitude’), self-driven and autonomous working style
Entrepreneurial spirit and data driven mentality
Passion for consumer facing, eCommerce driven digital products that drive conversion, user behaviour and user centered methodologies
Capability of managing and steering projects via cross-functional intercultural teams
Open in communication, as well as reliable, self-organized, and able to manage several workstreams in parallel
Willingness to take over responsibility and make decisions
Fluency in English both written and oral, German is desirable
Willingness to travel internationally and to work with different time zones
