About the Job
We're looking for a motivated Intern in Finance and Accounting (m / f / d) to join the Finance team in our portfolio company.
In your day-to-day work, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our finance and accounting teams to support key financial processes and gain valuable insights into financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.
This internship will provide exposure to a wide range of finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and auditing.

In this role, you’ll :
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Support financial analysis efforts by gathering and analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions by processing invoices, payments, and receipts
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance activities, including gathering supporting documentation and completing forms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Growth, Operations, Tech) to support financial projects and initiatives as needed
Your Profile
- Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Excellent German skills and good English skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
