Product Safety and Certification Engineer (f / m / d)

Responsibilities :

As part of the safety and certification team in the Project Management Office, you are responsible for electrical and functional safety and other safety fields for heavy duty fuel cell systems

You ensure compliance with the relevant standards and approval requirements, carry out risk assessments and prepare documentation of your work

Furthermore, work closely with the HW & SW departments, development specialists, overall project management, sales and quality

Your tasks are rounded off by leading and supervising cooperation with external consultants, customers and suppliers. This may require sporadic international travel.

Qualifications :

You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or a comparable field of study

You are assertive, a strong communicator, work pragmatically and in a solution-oriented manner and are committed to moderating results-oriented discussions

In addition, you have already gained professional experience in the field of electrical power systems, the automotive industry or safety technology

You are characterized by a quick grasp and a basic understanding of technological contexts and their evaluation

Ideally, you have knowledge of common safety standards (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 26262) and have already gained experience with fuel cells

Very good German and English skills round off your profile
