Information Security Officer

Your responsibilities :
- Expansion and management of the university-wide information management system (ISMS) and further development of information security processes in accordance with BSI basic protection requirements.
- Creation and maintenance of information security guidelines in cooperation with process owners. Performance of business impact analyses and derivation of a risk profile including measures.
- Project management of the implementation project in accordance with BSI basic protection, as well as support for audits and conducting internal reviews.
- Consulting and regular reporting to the executive committee on issues of information security and project progress.
- Integration of information security requirements into all university processes, from the departments to IT.
- Participation in awareness-raising and training measures for staff
Your profile :
Completed university degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information technology, business informatics) or comparable qualification with several years of professional experienceExperience in supporting a certification project, e.g., according to ISO27001, TISAX, BSI basic protection.Knowledge of identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks.In-depth knowledge of information security standards and risk management.Several years of experience working in a professional IT organization.Ability to work in a team and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as communication and presentation skills.Relevant experience in project management and knowledge of data protection would be an advantage.Benefits :
