We are now hiring our :

Safety Specialist

This role will report directly to the Global Field Service Leader, Coperion GmbH. You will also be part of our global HSE team, with a dotted line to the Regional Environmental, Health and Safety Leader - EMEA .

Responsibilities :

• Support and advise the Field Service team on all matters related to occupational health, safety, and accident prevention .
• Perform duties as a Safety Specialist (m / f / d) according to §§ 6, 9, and 10 of the German Occupational Safety Act (ASiG).
• Maintain the Occupational Safety Management System in accordance with ISO 45001 , including participation in audits and conducting internal audits per ISO 45001, 9001, and 19011 standards.
• Conduct construction site safety inspections and accident analyses .
• Deliver employee training sessions on work safety .
• Contribute to the creation and review of risk assessments within the Service department.
• Ensure the documentation of all occupational safety measures is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, including all necessary proofs and records .
• Manage the EPLAS safety software with administrative responsibilities .
• Provide reports to management and HSE responsible persons, monitor KPIs .
• Collaborate with customers, internal departments , and external service providers .
• Act as the process owner for the SGA process (MAPS) .
