SailPoint is currently in a hyper-growth phase. As a result, we are looking for an additional solution engineer to complement our existing Solution Engineering team supporting our DACH Public Sector team.

What your role includes :

For successful applicants, we will work together to develop a tailored on-boarding plan, highlighting your experience and focusing on development in other areas of the role. This may include, product training, assigning a buddy or coach, research of the identity market and partner integrations, shadowing other members of the SE team, and practicing messaging and demonstrations. Once you are ready, you’ll work with our team of account executives to develop and progress sales opportunities. When aligned, you’ll be responsible for the opportunity from a technical perspective, focusing on a

consultative approach.

Specific responsibilities will include :

  • Joining an initial call, to discover and refine challenges which a prospective customer is facing.
  • Providing platform demonstrations across all levels of stakeholders from CxO to SME.
  • Answering technical questions, for example responding to RFPs and pre-sales queries.
  • Providing strategic guidance on implementing identity programmes. You’ll also have time to develop your skills, and attend internal training

    • sessions, along with supporting the wider SE team with any questions or

    advice. There is also a regular team calls to discuss any challenges and. celebrate wins together.

    Who are we looking for :

    We are looking for confident, motivated individuals to join our EMEA

    Solutions Engineering team in the DACH region. Existing SaaS pre-sales

    experience is very advantageous, as is any background in selling or

    running an identity platform. Perhaps you’re an existing pre-sales or services professional looking for a new challenge or have experience with the SailPoint platform and would like to break into pre-sales as a career?

    Solution Engineers at SailPoint have blended technical understanding and

    business focus.

  • Your written and communication skills are excellent.
  • Fluent in German and English, written and spoken

    • Technical skills :

  • You have a strong technical understanding of Infrastructure, Governance & Access Management.
  • You understand / have experience with SaaS solutions and AI-driven solutions.
  • You have an understanding or experience in Identity Security, and key identity principles.
  • You have an understanding or experience with IaaS environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with Java, XML, LDAP, SQL and APIs in general would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with SAP and good current working knowledge of the SAP platforms, including knowledge and experience of SAP

    • Cloud Transformations and knowledge and experience of SAP IDM, GRC and BTP would be preferred.
