Your tasks

Job content Junior Process Expert for Formulation & Drug Product Process Development of Biologicals :

  • In your new role, you will be responsible for the development of the formulation of biopharmaceutical drugs as well as the development of the manufacturing process.
  • This includes the independent planning, execution and evaluation of experiments on the characterization, shelf life and process robustness of biopharmaceutically manufactured end products.
  • You will coordinate the development of biologics in collaboration with various specialist departments and external partners.
  • You will also be responsible for active literature research for the continuous improvement and optimization of existing development concepts, analytical and evaluation methods.
  • The evaluation, reporting and presentation of experimental development work (mainly in English) will be part of your responsibilities.

  • The evaluation, reporting and presentation of complex experimental development work (mainly in English) will be part of your responsibilities.
  • In addition to developing and improving development concepts, you will establish complex biochemical and spectroscopic analysis methods.
  • Furthermore, you will represent the Drug Product project team in various meetings.

    • Your profile

    Requirements Junior Process Expert position for Formulation & Drug Product Process Development of Biologicals :

  • Completed Master's degree (natural sciences, engineering or pharmaceuticals) or completed Bachelor's degree with several years of professional experience, alternatively scientific training with many years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in biopharmaceutical development (analytics, formulation, aseptic manufacturing and lyophilization).
  • Knowledge and experience in protein analysis (HPLC, SEC, CEX, iCIEF, CGE)
  • Coordination of the development of biologics in collaboration with various departments and external partners.
  • Experience in analytical methods to characterize the stability of biologics.
  • Experience in the use of common office and laboratory software (LIMS, Spotfire).
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, reliability, ability to work in a team, motivation, commitment, high flexibility.
  • Good written and spoken German and English.
