Our client is renowned for its agile IT environment, and they are currently offering an exceptional remote position, in their large yet ever-expanding global organisation. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and operation of cutting-edge products
  • Work in an agile, iterative, and incremental fashion, conducting proof of concepts (POCs) for new features and technologies to evaluate their benefits
  • Partner with various specialist departments and customers for interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Participate actively in all stages of DevOps, from design through to operation
  • Utilise advanced technologies, such as cloud-based microservices and artificial intelligence
  • Generate tangible value, spearhead digitisation efforts, and modernise the IT landscape in conjunction with customers and international teams for our client

Qualifications

  • Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in IT, such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
  • Have extensive experience in professional software development, preferably within the logistics sector.
  • Proficient in Java and familiar with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), JavaScript, Ionic, and JEE.
  • Skilled in frontend development using TypeScript and Angular.
  • Knowledgeable about databases and data communication technologies, including REST and socket.
  • Experienced with modern CI / CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
  • Experienced in cloud technologies, including Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and strives to find optimal solutions for the team, product, and company.
  • Fluent in both German and English- B2 level or above for both.
