As a Senior Electrical Engineer (Tech Innovation) , you will work on some of our most forward-looking, strategically important technology initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who loves being a generalist : exploring new components, building prototypes, integrating sensors, and influencing the direction of NavVis products. You can expect a mix of hands-on engineering, system exploration, lateral leadership, and technical storytelling that brings new ideas to life.

If you enjoy diving into cameras, LiDARs, GNSS, compute platforms, ITOF sensors, and emerging technologies - while keeping your hands on prototypes, lab tools, and code - you'll feel right at home here.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Lead a balanced mix of discovery work and Electrical Engineering development tasks, moving between sensor evaluations, prototyping, and sprint-based engineering activities.
• Explore and validate next-generation technologies-including GNSS (GPS / RTK), ITOF sensors, LiDAR, ARM CPUs, NPUs, FPGAs, and imaging modules-to inform future product architecture.
• Build and test functional prototypes, integrating sensors and compute units while performing hands-on lab work such as electrical measurements, optical evaluation and system benchmarking.
• Define system behaviors and ensure smooth hardware-software integration.
• Influence technical direction by identifying opportunities, evaluating feasibility, and communicating insights to stakeholders ranging from engineering teams to C-level leadership.
• Contribute to driving integration of new technologies into product concepts and supporting shared responsibilities across Electrical Engineering and core Software teams.
