We are seeking a Senior Google Cloud Platform Architect with expertise in .NET and Python to lead the cloud architecture design for a missioncritical flight data digitalization project. This initiative is part of a longterm (510 years) aviation technology transformation aimed at optimizing datadriven operations within the industry.

You will be part of a specialized Platform Team (SREs DevOps Security & Solution Engineers FinOps) designing scalable and secure cloud solutions for processing and analyzing largescale flight operations data. The role requires deep architectural expertise in GCP strong experience in data processing and the ability to shape nextgeneration cloud solutions for aviation.

Tasks

Architect and design enterprisescale cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for aviation data processing and analytics.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (SRE DevOps Security Solution Engineers FinOps) to implement cloud best practices security policies and costoptimization strategies.
Design and develop cloudnative applications using .NET and Python to support realtime flight data analysis automation and digital transformation.
Implement highly scalable resilient cloud architectures with containerization (Kubernetes Docker) and infrastructure as code (Terraform Deployment Manager).
Ensure compliance with aviation data security standards and optimize cloud governance frameworks.
Drive automation CI / CD and DevOps adoption in cloud environments.
Research and implement emerging GCP technologies to enhance data efficiency security and scalability.

Requirements

5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect with proven expertise in designing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Strong knowledge of .NET and Python for cloudbased application development.

Deep experience with cloudnative architecture microservices and eventdriven systems.

Proficiency in GCP services (Compute Engine Cloud Functions BigQuery Pub / Sub Cloud Storage IAM etc.).

Strong background in cloud security best practices compliance and access management.

Experience in container orchestration (Kubernetes GKE Docker).

Solid understanding of CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

Strong analytical problemsolving and leadership skills.

Experience in the aviation transportation or logistics industry.

Knowledge of big data analytics or machine learning in a cloud environment.

German language skills (a plus but not required).
