Network and Digital Communication Systems Engineer (m / f / d)

Your Tasks

• Define terrestrial and space network architectures including user terminals
• Define and calculate link budgets in a digital communication system
• Perform traffic model simulations
• Define interface requirements towards space, ground, and user segments
• Support the overall payload design for telecommunication satellites
• Support the identification of future satellite communication technologies
• Interact with industrial and institutional cooperation partners and customers
• Function as the interface to workgroups and associations for digital communication standards (from DVB-S to 6G)
• Participate in the preparation of proposals

Your Qualifications

• Degree in communication engineering, network engineering or electrical engineering with focus on telecommunication
• Knowledge of network management
• Experience in modelling and traffic-routing of networks
• Knowledge of 5G / 6G standards with familiarity about 3GPP is an advantage
• Knowledge of space communication standards ( DVB-S / S2 / RCS) is an advantage
• Excellent organization, prioritization, and communication skills
• English working level proficiency
