A leading technology company is looking for a Customer Support Engineer / Platform Software Engineer to assist major automotive manufacturers in integrating its advanced products in the ADAS / Autonomous Driving sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical liaison for platform software-related issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system problems, including Ethernet, sensor connectivity, software updates, and vehicle communication.
- Collaborate with internal software teams, suppliers, and customers to address challenges.
- Contribute to the development of cutting-edge automotive technologies, including autonomous vehicle systems.
Requirements
Prior experience in a Customer-Facing position.Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in system debugging / testing within the automotive industry.Proficiency in vehicle topology, ECU system architecture, Ethernet communication, CANFD, SOMEIP, and tools like CANoe.Hands-on experience with service-oriented architectures and Ethernet-based systems.Willingness to travel within Germany / Europe.Fluency in English, German is a 'nice-to-have'.Preferred Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in automotive system / software / validation, ideally with ADAS products.Familiarity with multi-SOC ECUs, AUTOSAR, and network management.Advanced skills in debugging complex field issues.
