The Head of Strategy and Transformation will play a key leadership role in shaping and executing the strategic direction of a newly independent, mid-sized materials industry company with 1,200 employees across 20 countries. This role combines strategic planning and transformation leadership with a focus on post-merger integration, including implementation of a new brand, build-up of a standalone functional organization and cross-selling projects. Furthermore, the role includes direct responsibility for a team in charge of commercial excellence and e-commerce. The role functions as a Chief of Staff to the President, coordinating cross-functional initiatives and driving organizational effectiveness.

Your Role

Lead the development and execution of long-term business strategies.
Provide strategic insights to the President and leadership team.
Oversee major transformation programs, focusing on post-merger integration.
Manage cross-functional teams to achieve transformation goals.
Act as a trusted advisor to the President on strategic decisions and communications.
Lead a commercial excellence team managing sales enablement and performance analytics.
Drive the global implementation of the new corporate brand and ensure consistent messaging.
Develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

Master's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or related field; MBA preferred.

10+ years of experience in commercial functions, strategy, transformation, or consulting, ideally in the materials or industrial sector.

Strong experience in post-merger integration and large-scale transformation programs.

Proven ability to lead multifunctional teams and manage change in complex environments.

Deep understanding of commercial operations, branding, and digital commerce.

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
