In addition, Evident offers videoscopes, products for non-destructive testing techniques and for X-ray fluorescence analysis. We are currently recruiting a Field Service Engineer (m / f / d) EMEA . In this role will be responsible for carrying out services (installation, preventive and repairs) for digital pathology and other Evident products at customers' premises. You can be based remote in the rather southern states of Germany (Hesse - to Bavaria also Saxony or Thuringia). Tasks Carry out all the actions necessary for the installation (incl. software / basic integration) and commissioning Supervise project management : from delivery to installation and successful delivery of components and application software to our customers Introduce users into device and software to obtain the final installation report signature Ensuring maintenance operations (preventive and corrective) on customer sites You ensure on-site support by traveling (up to 5 days per week), overnight stays (up to 3-4 days per week) within the respective region (EMEA) Implement actions to guarantee the achievement of set objectives (performance, deadlines, etc.) Your comply with regulatory and security obligations Requirements Bachelor / master’s degree in biomedical, electronics, mechanical or similar engineering or equivalent qualification You have several years of experience in service microscopy / digital pathology Hands-on experience with an opto-mechanical or electronic system is an advantage.
