In the Faculty IV : School of Science and Technology, Dep. ETI, Embedded Systems, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.03.2026 at the following conditions :
Your tasks :
Developing optimization algorithms for massively parallel hardware architectures such as AI engines
Investigating optimization algorithms for heterogeneous architectures (e.g. AI engines in combination with programmable logic)
Deployment of optimization algorithms for energy optimization and scheduling
Contribution to the research project on Compton camera
Your profile :
Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
Knowledge of optimization methods is desirable.
Basic understanding of embedded systems and processor architectures.
Strong programming skills (C / C++, Python; hardware description languages such as HLS or VHDL are an advantage).
Motivation to pursue a doctoral degree and contribute to applied AI research.
Excellent English skills.
