YOU...

  • play a crucial role in the technical liaison team for our eVTOL aircraft, aiming to hold approval signature authority for dispositions and modifications
  • act as the voice of Production to Engineering and vice-versa
  • investigate and create solutions and disposition non-conformances and concessions when raised during production
  • interpret engineering drawings and facilitate correction of errors on drawings and documents identified during production through processes such as red-lining
  • balance competing needs and requirements to resolve technical solutions between Operations, Suppliers and Engineering
  • develop solutions to a variety of problems of varying scope and complexity following established Company Processes and are reaching back to the wider organisation for support and expertise
  • utilise and understand 3D models, assemblies and installations, system requirements, interface / supplier control drawings, performance specifications, system checkout procedures and statements of work
  • maintain records or oversee recording of information by others to ensure engineering drawings and documents are current and that engineering related production problems and resolutions are documented
  • provide technical consultation and drawing interpretation to all areas of the manufacturing facility
  • provide guidance concerning compliance and standards to relevant personnel
  • utilize experience and expertise to solve problems that effect both the short and long term goals of the company and its projects

There may be a requirement to operate in a shift pattern (early & late shift) at certain phases of the production process (no regular shift work)

YOU...

  • have a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering
  • have solid work aviation experience. Strong preference will be given to experiences in Liaison teams or similar.
  • have an understanding of OEM Engineering Organisations
  • have knowledge of CAD tools (ideally Siemens NX)
  • have basic knowledge with PDM / PLM systems (Teamcenter or equivalent)
  • possess an ability to work in fast-pace and occasionally stressful environment while maintaining a high degree of flexibility, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • have the ability to work well with others in different departments, even when challenges arise (schedule, budget, etc.)
  • should hold excellent initiative and judgment to make recommendations for improvements in our processes and product offerings
  • must be willing to undertake new responsibilities as business needs change
  • must be able to focus on key tasks, prioritize duties, and manage multiple priorities
  • have good German and fluent English language skills
