This position is planned within a student job or internship. It can ideally be combined with a masters thesis.
Your tasks
- outline different swarm concepts for the mission
- find and process subsystem specification
- dimension the specifications of the Attitude and Orbit Control System for different mission profiles and conduct the corresponding sensitivity analysis
- compute and maintain system budgets (delta-v, pointing…)
- trade-off analysis of driving performance requirements and specifications
- program, run and troubleshoot necessary simulations (GMAT, Python)
- report and present findings
Your profile
knowledge in mission analysis and systems engineeringknowledge in spacecraft subsystems including orbit analysis, propulsion, and guidance navigation and controlstrong knowledge in a mission analysis tool such as GMAT (preferable) or STKstrong knowledge in programming (scripting) languages such as Python (preferable) or C++knowledge in MS Office suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
