What part will you play?

Shape the technical design of our internal developer platform

Create and continuously improve (IaC) templates to enable and drive cloud native applications in our DSCs

Create high level architectural concepts that can be implemented by DevOps engineers

Collaborate with product management, architects, developers and DevOps engineers to define a shared vision of success

Drive the adoption of our DevOps as a Service concept across Digital Service Centers

Act as a thought leader for state-of-the-art software development and operations practices

Support & educate DevOps community and local developers

Drive the exchange with Siemens DevOps stakeholders and communities

What you need to make real what matters.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, professional education with longterm experience

Longterm experience and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) programming skills (e.g. Cloud Formation, Terraform)

Longterm experience and programming skills with container technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)

Significant experience in setting up automated CI / CD pipelines and automated test pipelines

Profound Experience with architecting cloud native CI / CD workflows and tools, such as GitLab or Jenkins

Experience in applying and adopting agile development processes and principles

Excellent analytical skills and experience in defining and governing complex DevOps cloud architectures and development processes

Experience in setting up AWS infrastructure for DevOps environments leveraging the full power of AWS native services

Proven work experience in distributed, international teams

Business fluent in English, German is a plus

Certifications are a plus (AWS Certified Solutions Architect / AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
