A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Expert Consultant (f / m / d) Network Studies, you will participate in an exciting journey every single day. You will lead and complete technical studies on the grid connection of our brand new products, systems, and solutions. Working with experienced colleagues, you will brainstorm and create pioneering solutions for renewable grids and decarbonization efforts. You will also actively contribute to pre-acquisition and sales activities, informing Siemens Energy customers about the advantages of our products in improving grid stability and developing the future grid.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Complete and manage projects related to analyzing electrical power systems, network planning, and grid development with outstanding precision.
  • Support our business units in business development by presenting the capabilities of our world-class products and solutions to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Coordinate and align engineers from various technical groups and virtual teams within a multi-cultural environment to ensure flawless execution.
  • Strengthen and grow customer relationships worldwide by effectively managing contacts and engaging with clients.
  • Integrate power electronic devices, renewable generation, storage devices, etc., into AC grids through conceptual studies, feasibility studies, tender studies, and project execution.
  • Coordinate external partners and sub-suppliers to ensure seamless project implementation.

What You Bring

  • A university degree or equivalent experience in electrical power engineering (master's or PhD) with proven professional experience.
  • Sophisticated skills in high voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics, renewable generation, power system planning, and development.
  • Proficiency in typical power system simulation programs (e.g., PSS / E, PowerFactory, NETOMAC, PSCAD / EMTDC, Matlab / Simulink).
  • Excellent communication skills in business, proficient in English, with German being an advantage.
  • Strong presentation skills to represent Siemens Energy to our customers, working groups, and conferences.
  • An approach marked by proactivity, innovation, analytical thinking, collaboration, customer focus, and the capability to excel in diverse teams.
