Functional and Vehicle safety engineer

Job Description :

The work package activities are required for rolling stock vehicles developed according to the BOStrab regulation which are already in customer service. An additional software release needs to be assessed and summarised in the vehicle safety case.

The activities include the following tasks.

• Safety change impact analysis and identification of functional testing needs
• Evaluation of functional safety test results
• Requirements traceability
• Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Update of Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
• Update of vehicle safety case

Output :

Language requirements : Fluent German (mother tongue or C1level) with technical terms knowledge from the railway industry

Knowledge requirements : General railway vehicle and safety knowledge experience with functional safety analysis of rolling stock experience with railway vehicle development and authorisation according to BOStrab regulation
