For our Faculty of Business in Berlin, we are looking for :

Professor of Business Administration (Finance & Controlling) (m, f, d)

You should be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the new trends and applications in the field of Finance and / or Controlling as well as in teaching students from various cultures.

Key tasks and Responsibilities :

• Conducting introductory and advanced courses in the areas of Finance, Controlling and Management Accounting
• Planning and implementation of research and development projects including publication activities in the field of business administration
• Advising and supervising students
• Grading student work, supervising seminars, projects, bachelor, master and doctoral theses
• Establishing partnerships with companies and institutions to further grow the network of the University at the Berlin location
• Administrative activities and committee work
• Advising prospective students

Requirements for professorship :

• Completed university studies
• Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and / or outstanding scientific publications
• Qualified professional experience in the field of the professorship, at least three years, two of them outside of a university

Your profile :

• Experience in teaching the basics of Finance, Controlling and Management Accounting. Experience in teaching advanced versions of these course is an advantage.
• Work experience in the areas of Finance, Controlling and Management Accounting is an advantage
• Ability to teach courses in English language
• Ability to teach courses in German language is an advantage
• Publication and research activity desired
• Strong ability to communicate and work in a team
• Organizational skills and eagerness to work together to advance the success and growth of the University
