Principal Engineer for Analog Defect Simulation Systems(f/m/div)

As part of our "Verificationand Validation" department, you will be responsible for the furtherdevelopment, maintenance and support of our analog and mixed-signaldesign flow.

- Support,maintain and further improve Infineon’s IC design methodology withfocus on analog defect simulation and analog verificationmethodology
- Responsible for enabling Infineon Business Lines toperform Analog Defect Simulations in compliance with the IEEE P2427standard
- Proactively consult chip design projects to ensureproper and efficient usage of working environment, software toolsand related methodology
- Collect application specific requirementsto the design environment and provide fast solutions (e.g. hotfixes)
- Work closely with internal and external software tools andmethodology providers on improving existing and developing newsolutions
- Create and maintain the necessary specification anddocumentation
- Carry out trainings for the design flow and toolusers Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have :
- A PhD or Master of Science in Electrical or ElectronicsEngineering or similar
- 5+ years of professional experience in thearea of Analog / Mixed-Signal design and verification
- Knowledge inDesign for Test, Layout, pre-silicon verification and testibilityand insights in semiconductor product manufacturing would be a plus
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso Schematic Editor and circuitsimulators such as XA, Spectre, HSpice, Eldo
- Good softwaredevelopment skills (C, Python, tcl, etc.) in a Unix / Linuxenvironment
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Leadershipand good communication skills, team player
- Fluent English skills;German is a plus
