JobDescription
Environment and Scopeof the Position :
Responsible forproviding leadership and support to counselors and tech staff.Co-facilitating group therapy, including preparation of materials,through research and construction of curriculum. Carrying a limitedcaseload as deemed necessary. Communicating with referral sourcesand company representatives regularly to strengthen relationshipsand address concerns / problems. Work closely with the psychiatristand nursing staff regarding medication management and evaluation ofclient mental health needs. Manages client files by conductingscheduled audits to ensure proper documentation is present and alllicensing regulations are met. Facilitates and attends weeklytreatment team meetings. Schedules and conducts staffing withclients and staff. As needed, conducts insurance reviews andassessments. Attends staff and company meetings. Attends courthearings when applicable. Responsible for intake process with newclients into program. Participates in on-call duties for thefacility to assist line staff with client behavioral and emotionalneeds. Listens to clients concerning all areas of treatmentincluding assistance with the grievance process. Maintains safe,orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients includingcrisis intervention. Oversees Family Programming including but notlimited to the facilitation of psycho-educational programming.Provide recommendations and assist in coordination of aftercareplanning for clients. Assist Clinical Director with clerical dutiesand any other duties asassigned.

Profile :
Strongclinical skills in D & A counseling, stages of change,motivational interviewing, CBT, relapse prevention and treatmentplanning. Sound knowledge of mental health treatment includingproficient DSM-IV knowledge. A working knowledge of HIPAA,Licensing, and CARF regulations. Knowledgeable of psychotropicmedications.
