Responsibilities
Lead and manage geotechnical components of infrastructure and tunnelling projects
Conduct and supervise site investigations, risk assessments, and geotechnical analyses
Develop geotechnical designs and provide input on ground behaviour and support systems
Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, design calculations, and specifications
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Ensure adherence to applicable Eurocodes, DIN standards, and project-specific requirements
Requirements
Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with significant exposure to infrastructure and tunnelling projects
Proficiency in geotechnical design and modelling software (e.g., Plaxis, GeoStudio, Rocscience)
Strong understanding of German and international engineering standards
Fluent in German (English language skills are an advantage)
Willingness to occasionally work on-site as needed (accommodation and car provided)
EU work authorization or eligibility to work in Germany
