SOTIF Expert - Automated Driving / ISO 21448 / Automotive

We are collaborating with a world-leading research center in Germany, engaged in pioneering next-generation AD / ADAS projects. The team is expanding and seeking an Expert Engineer with deep expertise in Automated Driving and SOTIF.

Key Responsibilities for the SOTIF Expert Role :

• Conduct both quantitative and qualitative analyses of AD / ADAS and Active Safety systems, utilizing ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 methodologies (e.g., FMEDA, FTA, STPA).
• Develop, review, and refine system safety concepts, architectures, and associated safety measures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and evaluate AD / ADAS safety architectures, ensuring coverage of fail-operational, fail-degraded, and fail-safe aspects.
• Define and review safety requirements at the system and software levels, with a focus on performance, functional safety, and SOTIF properties.
• Keep abreast of industry standards, regulations, and trends, and share relevant insights within the organization.
