Here’s what it’s all about

Oatly is growing and we are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Market Manager to support our DACH & BENELUX Markets. You will be responsible of day-to-day support to our DACH & BENELUX businesses, revising product composition, labelling and other commercial materials. Another important task is to keep the organization updated on the changes occurred in this geographical area and answer to customers or authorities ‘inquiries.

In this role you will work close to other departments such as Innovation, Creatives and our Commercial organization.

Here´s what you will do :

  • You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a regulatory network in the assigned markets and be on the top of the latest food regulatory developments.
  • Support Innovation and TPM organizations with new innovations and lifecycle project, securing product compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure recipe and labelling compliance in the assigned markets.
  • Carry out all operational regulatory tasks related to placing Oatly products on the markets, including authority registration / notification if applicable.
  • Be the contact point for local authorities and certification bodies.
  • Support the local organization during authorities and organic certification´s audits.
  • Validate communication materials such as point of sale or on-line advertising.
  • Represent Oatly in external meetings / conferences when regulatory expertise is needed.

In this role you will report to the Global Director Regulatory Affairs and Sustainability Compliance. The position is placed in Berlin, Vienna, Amsterdam, Brussels or Malmo with the possibility to work partly remote. Some travel may be required.

Other key competencies & experiences :

  • Bachelor's or master’s within food quality / food safety or law school with food as master.
  • Native German speaker.
  • Knowledge of European food law and ability to investigate and navigate complex topics.
  • Experience in performing horizon scanning and share the knowledge in the organization.
  • Track record in performing recipe checks and artwork validations.
  • Ability to engage with national authorities.
  • Presentations, precision and analytical skills.
  • As we act in a truly global setting, your communication skills in English must be excellent, both verbally and in writing.
