We are looking for a candidate for the position of "Project Manager" for ABB's Europe Operations Center in Ostrava. You will manage projects implementing the latest technologies in the field of automation and digital solutions in industry and energy.

We are looking for experienced candidates who have an overview of electrical engineering, automation and digitization and have knowledge and experience in project management.

Your responsibilities

• Work as the main point of contact between the implementation team and the end customer
• Leading and managing projects within the set costs, time and quality (scope) project management according to the methodology
• Reported project status, including a plan for successful completion of the project
• Maintaining customer relationships as well as team spirit
• Creating and updating the necessary documents for project management
• Follow-up of projects, summarization and sharing of knowledge, including updating of methodology

Your background

• We prefer university (or secondary school) education in a technical field (bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, IT or mechanical engineering)
• Experience in project management
• Understanding areas such as automation, IT technology and digitalization
• You have excellent communication skills and are capable of delivering results
• You are able to work independently and in a team and are proactive
• Fluent English, other languages are a great advantage
• You are familiar with MS Office tools
• Certification in project management (PMI, Prince2, etc.) is an advantage
• Experience in the field of energy, petrochemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, or food industry is an advantage
