In order to support the Radar Ground Systems department, Airbus Defence and Space is offering an

Internship in area Software and System Tests (d / f / m)

Duration : 6 months

As a trainee you will gain a deep understanding about system under test and state of the art test approach, specific within a system refresh with conversion to cloud technology.

The focus of our department is the design and implementation of turn-key solutions for complete Ground Segment, including data receiving stations, payload data processing and satellite control systems.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Further development of an existing test environment as part of a system refresh

With the expanded test environment, the functions of the satellite ground segment updated by the system refresh are retested

The collected test results are evaluated and deviations are documented in a ticket system

Desired skills and qualifications

Enrolled full-time student (d / f / m) in the area of Computer Science or an equivalent field of study.

Good programming skills (e.g. Java / Groovy)

Knowledge of creating an automated deployment of various test tools via Ansible and Python is an advantage

Team-player

Good communication skills

Self-organising

Fluent in German or English
