Your mission willbe : The Director of Product Management and Application Engineeringwill play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our batteryproduct lines. This leadership position requires a strategicthinker with deep expertise in battery technologies. The idealcandidate will drive product innovation, manage cross-functionalteams, and ensure that our offerings meet market demands whileadhering to regulatory standards. What will your dailyresponsibilities include in this role? Strategic Leadership VisionDevelopment : Establish and communicate a clear vision for productmanagement and application engineering that aligns with thecompany’s overall strategic goals. Roadmap Creation : Developcomprehensive product roadmaps for lead-acid and lithium batterytechnologies, focusing on both current offerings and futureinnovations. Market Analysis & Customer Insights MarketResearch : Conduct thorough market research to identify trends,customer needs, and competitive landscape dynamics. Focus onapplications within BESS, electric vehicles (EVs), and industrialsectors. Customer Engagement : Engage with key customers andstakeholders to gather feedback on product performance and identifyopportunities for improvement or new product development. ProductDevelopment & Lifecycle Management Cross-FunctionalCollaboration : Lead cross-functional teams comprising R&D,engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure cohesiveproduct development processes. Lifecycle Oversight : Manage theentire product lifecycle from ideation through commercialization.This includes defining product specifications, overseeing designand testing phases, and developing go-to-market strategies.Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all products comply with relevantsafety and environmental regulations, including those specific tobattery manufacturing. Financial Performance & OptimizationBudget Management : Develop and manage budgets for product lines,ensuring alignment with financial goals and resource allocation.Performance Metrics : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) tomonitor product performance in the marketplace. Analyze data todrive continuous improvement initiatives. Team Leadership &Development Mentorship : Provide mentorship and guidance to a teamof product managers and application engineers. Foster a culture ofinnovation, collaboration, and accountability. Talent Development : Identify skill gaps within the team and implement training programsto enhance capabilities in battery technology applications. What weask for : Educational Background : University degree in Engineering(Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or similar). Experience : Multipleyears of experience in product management within the batteryindustry, with a focus on lead-acid and lithium technologies.Technical Skills : Strong understanding of batteries, manufacturingprocesses, and application engineering principles. Familiarity withindustry standards and regulations related to battery safety andenvironmental impact. Leadership Qualities : Exceptional leadershipskills with experience managing diverse teams across multiplefunctions. Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellentcommunication skills to effectively convey complex technicalconcepts to non-technical stakeholders.
