Locomotive Driver Railway Driver

Responsibilities :

• Operate passenger and freight locomotives in accordance with scheduled timetables and operational procedures.
• Monitor train speed signaling systems and onboard safety mechanisms to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform comprehensive pre-departure and post-arrival inspections of locomotives to verify mechanical and operational readiness.
• Maintain clear and accurate communication with control centers station personnel and maintenance teams.
• Strictly adhere to all safety protocols operational standards and environmental regulations.
• Report technical issues system anomalies or incidents immediately to the appropriate authorities.

Required Skills :

Anabin H recognized degree or completed vocational training in railway operations or a closely related field. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a locomotive or railway driver. German language proficiency at B1 level (mandatory). Valid EU Train Drivers License (preferred) or demonstrated willingness to obtain certification.
