A Japanese plastic parts manufacturer is currently recruiting a German-speaking NVH / Sound Design Engineer for plastic gears used by automotive clients to cope with demands due to shit to EVs. Understanding of Japanese language or Japanese culture is advantageous.

SALARY : DOE 80k + bonus (up to 2 months)

LOCATION : Frankfurt OR Dusseldorf, Germany (Office based)
BENEFIT : 28-30 days (increasing by 1 day each year, max. 30 days)
NVH / Sound Design Engineer Main Responsibilities :
- Main point of contact for existing customers and potential customers regarding technical issues they are facing and questions about their gear solutions
- In close cooperation with the R&D in Japan, analyse the situation and develop solutions
- Close collaboration with sales, seek potential business opportunities and acquire new business
- Demonstrations of our gear solutions at the customer's site and via teams meeting
- Contact person for customers and interested parties for technical questions, creation of technical documentation, and proposal packages
- Conducting gear courses at the customer's site or in Düsseldorf / Frankfurt
- NVH Analysis and Testing (Conduct noise, vibration, and harshness testing on automotive components and systems)
NVH / Sound Design Engineer Ideal Candidate :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in NVH engineering, preferably in the automotive industry
- Specialisation and experience in NVH or sound design
- German and English are a must, Japanese is a plus
- Proficiency in NVH testing equipment and software (e.g., LMS Test.Lab, Brüel & Kjær)
- Strong understanding of vibration analysis, acoustics, and modal analysis
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Nastran)
