The Katholisches Klinikum Bochum is a maximum care hospital network and responsible for ten facilities. At the six sites St. Josef-Hospital, St. Elisabeth-Hospital, St. Maria-Hilf-Krankenhaus, Marien-Hospital Wattenscheid, Martin-Luther-Krankenhaus and the Blankenstein Clinic with a total of 1,570 beds, we treat over 240,000 inpatients and outpatients from the entire region every year. More than 5,500 employees combine cutting-edge medicine and research in our hospital network.

The Medical and Information Technology (MIT) department is responsible for both medical technology and all information technology systems and facilities at the Catholic Hospital Bochum, which is part of the critical infrastructure (KRITIS). The Information Technology department at MIT is divided into the areas of clinical IT applications, IT hardware support and IT infrastructure. The team ensures the smooth running of the entire IT of the Catholic Hospital Bochum.

  • Several years of professional experience in IT management, preferably also in a hospital
