We are seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to streamline and elevate ourprocesses and drive program improvement and optimization within the AmazonShared Mobility Partner business in Germany. The Manager will be strong withdata, automation tools and SQLPython to automate our processes and increaseour efficiency to enable us to deliver bigger results. The Amazon Shared Mobility Partner program is a new model to enable Amazon tosupport speed initiatives and on demand capacity in the European Union. Thisentails partnering with multi-use fleet operators with employed driversworking for other delivery mobility platforms to solve day of variabilityand support the EU Same Day (SD) Go Big plan. This program is powered by amobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems thatallows SMPs to on-board, schedule delivery times, guide them through theirdeliveries with in-app mapping and navigation, and more. The approach andtechnology are disruptive and promise to challenge traditional approaches,changing the way the industry operates. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, analytical anddetail-oriented, possess superior interpersonal and communication skills, andbe comfortable working independently to drive growth and change in a fast-paced environment. An extreme bias for action and being with data is anabsolute must, and candidates must demonstrate a track record of deliveringresults. Key job responsibilities Find opportunities to automate and optimize existing Last Mile processes. Thisincludes, but not limited to, our scheduling, labor planning, routing capacitymanagement and forecasting. You will partner with the Amazon Logistics DE team to deploy program, processand station improvements. The successful candidate will also manage AMZL andSSD-D stations where we operate this program by partnering with stationoperations in order to improve the driver experience under the roof,optimizing scheduling processes and enhancing driver capacity in order to hitcost, safety, quality targets for the program. Another part of the role willbe recommending changes and using your project management and stakeholdermanagement skills to put new processes in place. Partner with WW Flex Last Mile teams to understand common challenges to adoptstandard practice and identify opportunities to collaborate with tech teams tobuild automated tooling and solutions to hand off our processes. A day in the life As a Process Improvement Specialist , you’ll be at the forefront of makingAmazon’s logistics better – which means improving safety, productivity, andquality. You will partner with the Amazon Logistics DE team to deploy program, processand station improvements. The successful candidate will also manage 3P partnersuppliers by optimizing scheduling and routing and enhancing driver capacityin order to hit cost, safety, quality targets for the program. Another part ofthe role will be recommending changes and using your project management andstakeholder management skills to put new processes in place. The successful candidate will be based in Munich, DE. The candidate will beexpected to visit Delivery Stations across Germany. If needed, you will carryout analysis at other local or national sites. On top of dealing withproductivity and safety, you’ll have the opportunity to share best practicesand ideas with our EU network. About the team ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A degree - Advanced data-related skills including Excel, Python, SQL. - Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influencebusiness decisions. - Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders,including your peers and leadership - Valid Full UK Driving License. - Advanced proficiency in document writing. ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics or a technicalfield. - Experience manipulating and presenting data with Excel. - Experience in Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques - Experience with supporting tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, MS Access).
