The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Demand Generation team (DG) in Central is growing and we are looking for talented people to join the EMEA DG leadership team.
AWS provides companies of all sizes with an infrastructure platform in the cloud and the DG team is tasked with helping prospect companies make the move to the AWS.

As Demand Generation Manager, you will be leading a team of Demand Generation Managers and ICs (DGRs) in their efforts of prospecting for new business and acquiring new customers in a diverse customer base.
You will partner with internal stakeholders to set and deploy an outbound plan to optimize the prospecting efforts and maximize end customer value.
As the owner for all Demand Generation efforts for Central you are also a part of the Central Leadership Team, representing the EMEA DG org in the area specific forums and align on business priorities.
Your responsibilities will also include mentor and develop young sales professionals, monitor team performance, create scaling mechanisms, build trust with internal and external stakeholders and deliver the DG organization vision and strategy.
The role can be based in Munich.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include planning, executing and reporting, team development and strategy alignment including overseeing execution.
The leader carries a significant contribution towards our EMEA DG targets, overseeing not only the creation part but also overseeing the downstream development of the efforts taken by the team.
Analyzing and in-depth understanding of the entire pipeline created for the area and develop recommendation based on insights gained is a key element to driver success at scale for the wider UK AGS organization - therefore influence beyond direct reporting line is a key skill in this role.
The leader is owning : 1 / right alignment with sales priorities, 2 / focus of the team in highest productivity activities and pockets of opportunity and 3 / scaling capacity across all regions.
- Support the evolution, integration, and implementation of sales processes to meet the rapid growth of the business and targets attainment
- Manage the monthly / quarterly business reporting to senior leadership
- Analyze data and trends and make informed recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Coach and develop a team of Demand Generation Reps covering
- Manage Sales Compensation scheme
- Develop relationships and work with marketing, sales, partner, sales operations, and other stakeholders to create and refine the tools and processes needed to drive productivity increases.
- Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in technology related account management or business development
- Experience in leading sales teams executing on sales plans, revenue targets
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce.com preferred)
- Experience developing and executing targeted outbound activity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in team leadership positions in a result oriented environment and experience in coaching and mentoring young professionals
- MBA, BA / BS degree or relevant experience
- Track record in effectively collaborating with senior stakeholders
- A strong understanding of AWS and / or technology as a service (Iaas, SaaS, PaaS)
- Profound insights into the DE business ecosystem, main market stakeholders and trends
