Division Cost Controller (m / f / d)

Reporting directly to our Division Finance Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring costs related to global functions and ensuring proper documentation for cross-charges and cost allocations within the division. This role has direct exposure to senior leadership with the opportunity to coordinate key processes. What you will be doing

• Track and analyze costs for HQ and other global functions or projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and actual cost analysis.
• Deliver regular reporting on budget vs. actual performance, identifying variances and initiating corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and review monthly postings to ensure HQ costs are booked to the correct cost centers, and GL account.
• Maintain and improve a cost approval process for all HQ expenditures that is compliant with internal control requirements and corporate governance policies (e.g. levels of authority).
• Validate shared service recharge calculations, allocations, and intercompany billings and ensure the proper documentation is maintained in line with internal policies.
• Prepare the Division HQ cost allocations for operating entities and maintain supporting documentation.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance transparency, efficiency, and compliance.
