Mechanical Development Engineer (m / w / d)

GLW Europe GmbH is a subsidiary of US based startup company founded by a group of surgeons and engineers to make a difference in the orthopedic implants and instruments industry by surgeon driven product designs and innovative manufacturing technologies. For our office in Wurmlingen, Germany we are currently looking for an open minded, strong mechanical engineer (or similar) to work on some exciting new projects.

• You will support / execute / lead development projects for medical devices.
• You will design products together with surgeons and the project team
• You will handle / document User Needs and Design Input through an electronic, efficient eQMS.
• 3+ years of experience in the medical (orthopedic preferred) industry
• 3+ years of experience (or a similar education) with medical device manufacturing processes
• Excellent CAD skills (PTC CREO preferred), tolerancing, drawings according to ISO standards
• Decent English skills (communication and documentation often is in English)
• A creative mindset. You don't just accept paradigms but challenge things that appear wrong
