Job Title : Cyber Sales Manager – Germany (m / w / d)

Location : Germany (Frankfurt office with minimal travel)

Salary : €80,000 - €100,000 (DOE)

Position Overview :

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Cyber Sales Manager to join the rapidly growing team in Germany. This is a key role for a sales leader who thrives in developing new business, nurturing relationships, and possessing a deep understanding of the intersection between industrial applications, IoT, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling complex technical solutions and excel in a high-growth, dynamic environment. You’ll work with prominent industrial and tech companies, offering cutting-edge encryption solutions to meet their data protection needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Leadership : Drive the growth of the company’s presence within the German market, focusing on large industrial customers.
  • Business Development : Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and build a strong sales pipeline in the Industrial, IoT, and Automotive sectors.
  • Account Management : Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Technical Expertise : Utilize your knowledge of embedded software, silicon services, and industrial applications to deliver tailored data protection solutions, and confidently communicate complex encryption technologies.
  • Negotiation & Closing : Successfully negotiate and close sales deals in the €300K-€500K range, or equivalent, ensuring high levels of professionalism and sales effectiveness.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and technical experts, to align client needs with our solutions and deliver top-tier service.
  • Market Intelligence : Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging threats, and competitor solutions to position the company as a leader in encryption and data protection technology.

Key Requirements :

  • Experience : Minimum of 10+ years in sales, with a proven track record of selling complex solutions to large European technology companies, particularly in the Industrial, IoT, and Automotive sectors.
  • Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of communication technologies, encryption, and industrial applications, with the ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers and senior decision-makers.
  • Industry Relationships : Established network and strong relationships with key players in the industrial sector enabling quick market penetration.
  • Language Skills : Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Education : A background in engineering or a technical field is preferred, as it will enhance your ability to understand and communicate the technical aspects of our solutions.
  • Desirable Experience :

  • Prior experience in selling both wired and wireless encryption solutions.
  • Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity needs and solutions, particularly in relation to IoT and automotive sectors.
