The mission

OneLife is a Luxembourg life insurance company specialised in cross-border financial planning solutions for wealthy clients across Europe and beyond. To support our growth, we are looking for the right candidate to join our passionate Investment team.

The purpose of the role of Investment Solutions Officer is to support the Investment Solutions Department in assisting the trading team on the day to day operations.

You are responsible of processing daily orders on financial products. This includes tasks of settlement, investment compliance and reconciliation. That involves understanding of the trading process and good knowledge of financial products (investment funds, fixed income, equities…) as well as the alternative funds sector and the unquoted assets.

Main objectives of the role

• Prepare and process buy / sell orders on financial markets, fund subscription / redemption and ensure that the transactions are in full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with counterparties (custodian banks, TA, asset managers…) to ensure the proper securities clearing and settlement
• Manage daily reconciliation and confirmation process of financial transactions
• Ensure that both procedures and legal framework are respected when processing transactions
• Maintain strong relationship with clients (brokers, asset managers…) and cooperate closely with other departments (Sales Team, Customer Services…)
• Ensure that our internal folders stored on internal server are up to date
• Support reporting requirements, and participate in the improvement of the trading platform
• Promote new ideas and services by applying knowledge of the industry / sector to create client value
• Seek opportunities to add value to client (be creative), Regulatory updates to perform / share
• Participate in ad hoc projects, events… and be an active support to the promotion of the department
