Project description :

As a Software Verification Engineer, you will work in a team of engineers who develop operational and application software for embedded systems in aircraft. Your area of responsibility will include the entire testing of safety-critical real-time software to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.

Tasks :

  • Specification of software test cases based on applicable safety requirements in the aviation industry
  • Development and implementation of low- and high-level software test procedures
  • Adaptation of existing test strategies to the requirements of new applications
  • Performing manual and automated software tests in simulation environments and on HiL test benches
  • Reviewing and analyzing test cases and results and creating test reports

Skills :

  • Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable fields of study / training
  • Professional experience (min. 2 years) in testing and verification of safety-critical software under DO-178
  • Good knowledge of a scripting language, preferably Python or Rational Test RealTime
  • Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming
  • Basic knowledge in the development of high- and low-level software requirements
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • High flexibility and adaptability as well as an independent way of working in a professional development team a big plus would also be
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools : DOORS, DIMENSIONS, Synergy, h T32
  • Programming skills in C, Ada95 and / or assembler
  • German skills
