What you can expect

  • Disciplinary and technical management of the two teams "Consolidation Operations" & "IFRS Group Consolidation & Reporting Principles".
  • Technical responsibility (consolidation software and Workiva tool) for all external annual and interim IFRS consolidated financial statements (consolidated financial statements) with primaries (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, equity) notes disclosures and group management report incl. consistency of all parts of the report.
  • Support for new M&A companies during the initial consolidation phase (IFRS conversion and purchase price allocations in accordance with IFRS 3).
  • Contact person for the auditors with regard to complex and new IFRS accounting and valuation issues.
  • Preparation and development of uniform accounting standards and valuation regulations within the Group and responsibility for the further development of the IFRS Group Accounting Manual, contact person for individual companies in this regard.
  • Overall process-related responsibility for finalizing the monthly IFRS Group financial statements (Group closing of the actual figures).
  • Definition and further development of Group processes and reporting data flows (incl. consolidation software and reporting tool).

What makes you stand out

  • You have a Master's degree in economics or a comparable field and have already gained experience as an auditor or CPA.
  • You have at least 7 years of professional expertise in the above-mentioned range of tasks : Preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements including independent support of inquiries from auditors.
  • Ideally, you have already gained management experience.
  • You have very sound experience in the use of a consolidation tool (ideally SEM-BCS).
  • Your communicative, goal-oriented, independent way of working and fluency in German and English (written and spoken) round off your profile.
