Key Responsibilities :
- Customer Portfolio Management : Develop and manage the customer portfolio, including handling sales, price management, quotes, complaints, and relationships.
- Client Engagement : Visit customers regularly, provide detailed reports, and participate in trade shows to represent the company.
- Market Analysis : Conduct specialised price studies and identify customer needs, performing a benchmark of competitors.
- Network Development : Develop and grow the network to increase turnover, including creating new accounts, new services, and conducting market studies.
- Budget and Performance Management : Oversee the budget, monitor turnover evolution, and ensure the follow-up of recovery actions.
Skills and Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regional sales position within the logistics industry, with a focus on overland transportation.Industry Knowledge : Strong network connections in the maritime container industry.Language Skills : Fluency in German and English is required.
