Senior Project Developer – Solar & Battery Storage (Germany)

📍 Location : Multiple locations across Germany

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Developer to join our growing team in Germany. In this role, you will lead the development of utility-scale battery storage and solar PV projects , with responsibility for securing land, managing permitting processes, coordinating grid connections, and progressing projects to ready-to-build status.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and initiate new solar and BESS projects in an assigned region of Germany
• Build and manage a pipeline of development-stage projects
• Engage with landowners to assess and secure sites through lease or purchase agreements
• Serve as the main point of contact for local authorities, municipalities, and stakeholders
• Oversee permitting processes and ensure compliance with local planning regulations
• Coordinate grid connection applications with TSOs / DSOs
• Manage project timelines, development budgets, and external consultants
