Summary

For the "Digital and Mixed Signal Hardware Engineering" department, we are looking for a "Development Engineer Digital Hardware (f / m / d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The team develops digital / mixed signal circuit boards for use in the military and civilian sector for radar, electronic warfare and avionics systems. These are used in vehicles, airplanes, helicopters and ships. The portfolio includes signal conversion boards, FPGA boards and processor boards.

Your Tasks

Development of analog and digital assemblies in the field of radar technology and avionics

Support in the definition of requirements

Concept creation and definition of key components

Creation of a circuit design and circuit diagram as well as layout support

Commissioning of the module and support for integration and verification

Responsibility for the assembly until it is ready for series production (if interested)

Your Profile

Completed studies in engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering or comparable

Several years of professional experience in this field

Experience in using CAE tools - preferably Mentor Xpedition (DxDesigner, CES, IO-Designer, xPCB Layout) or similar HW tools

Knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology

Knowledge of requirements engineering advantageous

Knowledge of circuit simulation advantageous (Mentor HyperLynx (SI, PI, DRC), ADS (Advanced Design System v. Keysight), Pspice or LTSpice) or similar tools

Basic knowledge of SAP advantageous

Enjoy working and integrating in an open and communicative team

Good knowledge of German and English
