Senior Software Engineer with focus on macOS (allgenders)

Responsibilities

  • Designand develop multi-threaded and high scaling server- and client-sideapplications.
  • Optimize our software to deliverthe best connectivity on resource limited devices (operatingpanels, gateways, even harvesters).
  • Ensure thatour software is stable and runs efficiently on many differentsystems (more than 2.5 billioninstallations).
  • Improve our integration withmacOS and bring the latest Apple technologies into our product,ensuring efficient implementation and improving battery life onmobile devices.
  • Recommend improvements toarchitecture and technologies to further enhance our systems andcode base regarding reliability, maintainability, scalability, andefficiency.
  • Monitor the latest technicaldevelopments in your field and make proposals forimprovements.

Requirements

  • Auniversity or college degree in the field of Computer Science,Software Engineering or any related subject.
  • Atleast 5 years of professional experience in the field of softwaredevelopment with focus on Apple operating systems likemacOS / iOS / visionOS.
  • Solid skills inarchitecture in object-oriented programming with Clean Code andDesign Patterns is expected.
  • Interest orknowledge in web technologies such as TypeScript, HTML 5 is aplus.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, furtherlanguages such as German are aplus.
