User Experience Engineer (f / m / d)

We are looking for a highly motivated User Experience Engineer (f / m / d) , in a full-time remote position.

alfaview gmbh is a part of the alfa group. As a pioneer in the development of GDPR-compliant video conferencing systems, we are continuously working to improve digital communication. Together with our partners EML and Semanux, we are actively contributing to accessible communication and digital sovereignty in Europe. Our UI / UX Team is looking for an experienced UX Engineer (f / m / d) who wants to tackle complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs for our video conferencing platform alfaview. Your mission is to accompany new features from the beginning and to develop user-oriented solutions in collaboration with a team of designers and engineers.

• You communicate the user experience by using user flows, wireframes, interface mock-ups and prototypes
• You are taking on responsibility and are the driving force behind the UX of our GDPR-compliant video conferencing tool
• You are enthusiastic about modern technologies and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest technical developments
• You are part of refining and extending our design system
• You lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features, all within a user-centred design process
• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Design or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience in the field of user experience design and of relevant industry experience
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Experience designing across multiple platforms and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the design process
• Experience in handling and working with design systems
• Familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to design for platforms such as desktop and mobile (iOS and Android native apps)
• You have a comprehensive portfolio with previous work that demonstrates experience with crafting usable digital interfaces
• Interest and ability to work in a fully remote position, as our team is working in a 100% home office setting
• Basic programming skills to bridge the gap between design and development
