  • Technical and disciplinary management of the team in the quality area (QM and QA), Responsible for all KUKA Robotics sites outside of China
  • Implementation and design of new processes and standards in the entire quality system
  • Assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards, testing materials and products
  • Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures and government requirements
  • Devising and establishing a company’s quality procedures, standards and specifications
  • Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
  • Completes quality assurance operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results
  • Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget, scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions, calculation of accruals for quality issues
  • Accomplishes quality assurance human resources objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees
  • Meets financial objectives by estimating requirement; preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions
  • Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Risk management officer for product business
  • Negotiation of quality assurance agreements with customers
  • Responsibility for warranty management
  • Documentation and CE process for the project business
  • Responsible for the areas of hazardous goods and material compliance
  • Development of test and inspection systems for production sites worldwide

    Das bringst du mit

  • Degree in engineering or industrial engineering or comparable education
  • 10 years of experience in senior leadership in an international context

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in quality-assurance and -management
  • Knowledge of the relevant quality management methods and their operational application
  • Experience in conducting (project) audits / assessments / project reviews
  • Expertise in risk and emergency management as well as common quality assurance methods (Pareto, Kaizen, Ishikawa, 5M method, fault tree analysis)
  • Experience in conducting (project) audits / assessments / project reviews and lead auditor experience desirable
  • Competent demeanor in negotiations with customers and suppliers to effectively represent our interests
  • Strategic and visionary thinking as well as strong execution and leadership skills
  • Confident command of written and spoken English, additional language skills are advantageous
  • Willingness to travel (30%)
